Home Inspections are a necessary part of the home buying process. They provide the buyer with the assurance that they won’t need to invest in costly repairs in the near future and provide the seller with leverage to increase the potential sale price.
Weather-Tite Roofing provides roof certifications and inspections for both buyers and sellers. Our team will inspect the roof, take any necessary photos and compile the gathered information into a comprehensive written report including their professional recommendations.
Typically a Roof Certification is issued, which states that the inspected roof is in good condition and does not require any further work for a 2 year period. This is a certification of our professional opinion, not a guarantee. Most realtors require this document at settlement from the home seller.
There is a service fee for the roof certification. The service fee will be waived if the customer contracts Weather-Tite Roofing to complete any work recommended in the written report.
Please note, Weather-Tite Roofing has no legal obligation to honor a warranty purchased by a previous home owner.If the roof was installed and warrantied by Weather-Tite Roofing, we may issue a transferable warranty for the new owners. A service fee will be applied for the issuance of any transferable warranties.
